I closed my eyes and felt her passing. Olivia grew still and died as no woman ever had.
I pulled back and rose from the bed.
“My god,” I said. “She was like a fucking bride.”
“She was,” Kensington agreed.
He stepped forward from the shadows where he had been watching.
“And now look at her: used and destroyed,” I said. “Why? Why did you bring her here, tonight? Why did you want her to end this way?”
Ken walked to her; touched her hair. The blood was slowing. The bed, her dress and her beautiful blonde hair were soaked crimson and her face was an inviting mess of blood and semen.
“It was time to move on from her,” Ken said, turning away. “Past time, Evan. It’s past time to move on from all of them.”
“Are you alright, sir?” I asked.

And with that he exited.
