Introduction:
Cassie gets rescued and Tony is held accountable
Frankie drove down the street and checked out the addresses. This was the street, he wondered what he would find at her house. He was so hoping he would not find this young girl in a dumpster somewhere. He noticed the numbers getting close and then he saw the house. He pulled into the empty driveway and stopped on the side of the house in front of the garage. He climbed out and noticed there was a deck of some sort in the back. He opened the wooden gate and stepped into the yard. He saw a pool and a deck that attached to the house. It was covered and very nice. He also noticed a sliding door on the deck leading into the house.
Frankie walked across the deck and tried to open the door. It was locked. He looked down and then pulled out a small piece of metal from his pocket. The lock clicked, and he slid the door open. He walked into the kitchen and looked around. The living room was connected, and he stepped forward. His heart skipped when he saw the body. It was small and shoved halfway under the couch. “Baby, you can relax. You are safe now.” He said slowly.
He saw her eye look at him and then a small smile appeared across her swollen face. She took a deep breath and closed her eye. He grabbed his phone and dialed. The man answered quickly.
“Mr. Joe, I found her. Yes, she was in her house. Yes, she is alive, but she is a mess.” Frankie listened to the instructions and slid his phone into his pocket.
Frankie looked around the living room and noticed a blanket strewn across the back of the couch. He grabbed it and wrapped it carefully around her. Her body was limp, and her arms hung down as he lifted her and carried her to the car. He placed her gently in the back seat. Frankie walked through the large door into the parlor. The girl was still limp, her left arm hanging loosely. He saw Beatrice walking briskly towards him. “Frankie, take her to the study. The doctor is waiting. Thank you for finding her.” Beatrice said and looked at the huge man.

“Yes, Frankie, you will be coming with me.” She said softly.
“Thank you, Miss Beatrice.” Frankie said and started to the study.
Beatrice turned and walked back into the office. Her father was on his laptop and Mandy was sleeping on the couch. Her father looked up as she entered.
“Daddy, I am going to shower and get dressed. I will need to watch all of it when I return.” She said.
“Yes, sweetheart, I will have it ready. He is at the bar.” Joe said.
“Good, does it look like he will be there a while?” She asked.
“Yes, he just arrived, and they look very comfortable.” He said.
“Ok, I will be back shortly. Can you reach out to Uncle John and bring him up to speed?” Beatrice asked as she turned.
“Yes, already done, he will have his guys ready, and he said you would have as much time as you need.” Joe said.
“Thank you, Daddy.” She said and left the room.
She stepped out of the shower and wrapped the towel around her long blonde hair. She grabbed another towel and wrapped it around her body, tucking it in near her full breasts. “Is that why he chose Cassie?” Beatrice asked as she watched Mandy serving drinks at the Christmas party and Cassie drinking some sort of pink drink.
“We think so, he knew about her and we think he just decided to act one day. He went on a service call to her house, which he hadn’t done in years.” Joe said.
Beatrice watched the scene unfold as Tony worked the room and then talk to Cassie’s family and then introduce her to a group of men. There was nothing sinister here as far as she could tell.
“Daddy, do we know if anything happened during the Christmas party?” Beatrice asked.

“Well, no, but we know that Cassie stayed at Tony’s overnight as we saw her there early in the morning. We saw quite a bit early in the morning as we do have surveillance in the kitchen.” Joe said and hit a few keys.
Beatrice saw the kitchen and then saw Cassie walk into the kitchen with the large black man. She was wearing a short red silky robe. Tony was sitting at the table. “You are in the home of Joe Winthrop.” He said.
“Tony?” I said softly and looked around.
“No, he is not here. You are safe now.” The man said, grabbing my hand.
I took a deep breath and looked at him.
“You will be very sore for a couple of days, but you will be fine. You have no broken bones and you will heal completely.” He said, squeezing my hand.
I just looked at him.

I thought for a minute and then I remembered all the words that were all over my body. I looked back at him.

“Not a problem, sweetheart. You need to rest now.” He said and put my hand on the blanket over my chest.

“Yes, she is here. You can see her later, you need to rest.” He said.

“Give it a minute, get used to standing.” He said calmly.

He walked with me as we made our way out of the room and down the hall. I was walking better and now just holding his arm for support.
“One more corner.” He said and guided me to the right.
I saw a huge parlor and then a large oak door. He led me to the door and pulled it open. I heard what sounded like a movie and then my heart felt happy. Beatrice was sitting in a chair and she was beautiful. She looked like a blonde goddess dressed in black. She looked at me and smiled. She stood up slowly and walked over to me. “Sweetheart, you should be resting.” Beatrice said softly.

“Baby girl, you are something else. I am assuming you are talking about Tony and his crew. I am well aware of what he has done.” Beatrice said, and I saw her eyes darken as she finished the statement.
I nodded and then looked over to the couch. Mandy was standing there and holding her arms out to me. I looked back at Beatrice and she motioned to the couch. I turned and stepped into Mandy’s arms. Her embrace was warm and felt like a blanket around my sore body.

“Be careful honey.” Joe said.

I looked up at Mandy.
“What is happening?” I asked.
“B is going to take care of the situation.” Mandy said.
“I don’t understand, she will get hurt.” I said, and I felt my heart start to race.
Mandy chuckled and looked over at Joe. She looked back at me with a smile on her face.
“She will be fine sweetie. Beatrice is a lot more than you have seen.” Mandy said.
I looked over at the man and he smiled but it did not look like a confident smile. He looked more like a very concerned father.
Beatrice looked over at Frankie, he was driving the speed limit, but his arms were rippling, and his neck looked red.
“Frankie, are you all right?” Beatrice said.
“Yes, Miss B, I am fine.” Frankie said through clenched teeth.
“Frankie, I need you to be calm for me.” Beatrice said.
Frankie turned his head to her and Beatrice saw his eyes were glassy.
“Miss B, she is a child and these…animals beat her to a pulp. That is wrong on so many levels. I am struggling to understand how people could do something like that.” Frankie said, his voice cracking.
Beatrice touched Frankie’s massive forearm and he felt a small surge of warmth flow through his arm and to his chest. He took a deep breath. He looked over at Beatrice and her bright blue eyes sparkled in her pretty face. He felt himself calming down.
“Thank you, Miss B.” Frankie said.
“You are welcome Frankie. You will have your moment, although Tony is mine. The foreman at the bar will need some attention, I am sure you will be able to make yourself feel better.” Beatrice said, her hand still on his forearm.
“Thank you again, Miss Beatrice.” Frankie said.
Frankie pulled the car over to the curb in front of the bar, noticing immediately the two large black men standing on either side of the door to the bar. He walked around the car and opened the door. She smiled at them as she stood slowly. She took Frankie’s arm and started to walk to the door. She looked up at the man on the right. He reached out and opened the door.

She felt eyes on her as she walked confidently through the crowd. They approached the insignificant black door at the back of the bar. There was another large man standing in front of the door. He looked at Frankie and then down at Beatrice.
“Hello sir, we have a meeting with Tony. If you would be so kind to let him know we are here.” Beatrice said in a sweet voice.
The man disappeared through the door. Beatrice turned and looked out at the bar. It was a typical crowd, a few pretty girls but a lot of sad-looking guys and most of them were staring at her.
“Nice crowd.” Beatrice said.
“Yeah, they look like they have seen better days.” Frankie said under his breath.
Beatrice chuckled.
“Frankie, be nice.” She said and chuckled again.
They turned as the door opened and the large man held it open for them. They walked through into a large room. She recognized it immediately as she looked around. It was relatively dark, but her eyes adjusted quickly. She scanned the crowd, almost all guys, most impaired but she saw a few bright eyes looking back at her. The skinny one in the red shirt was carrying, she noted as they walked slowly to the bar.
She saw Tony sitting towards the right side of the room at a table with two other men. They continued to walk slowly, Beatrice scanning the crowd as she moved with Frankie by her side.
I looked at the screen and saw Beatrice walk into the bar where I was attacked. My breath caught in my chest and I looked at Mandy. Mandy was watching the screen closely as was Joe.
“Oh no, this is not good.” I said.
“It’s ok honey.” Mandy said and squeezed my hand.
“Joe, she will be ok, right?” Mandy said, her voice hopeful.
“Yes, so far, so good. The kid in the red shirt is carrying and she picked it up right away. Most of these guys are drunk. There are a few that could be trouble, but she is picking them out.” Joe said, his eyes never leaving the screen.
I looked back at the screen and all I saw was Frankie and Beatrice walking up to the bar. She slipped up on a bar stool as did Frankie next to her. Most of her leg was exposed as she sat, I noticed plenty of guys turn and look and I felt the fear grow.
Beatrice sat on the bar stool and turned to Frankie.
“I will need you to stay here as I go and talk to Tony. There is a large shotgun behind the bar, I need you to make sure he doesn’t get to use it.” She said softly, leaning towards Frankie.
Frankie nodded and looked at the bartender and caught his eye. He started over, he was balding but looked very powerful. This could be fun. The bartender stopped in front and looked at Frankie.

“2 Maker’s Marks on the rocks, please.” Beatrice said.

Beatrice watched the slimy bartender walk away and turned again to Frankie.
“I am going to talk to Tony now. You join me after you deal with him.” Beatrice whispered in his ear as she stood next to him.
“Yes, Miss Beatrice, be careful.” Frankie said and looked int her eyes.
“Always Frankie.” She said and walked away.

“Beatrice, I have to admit those two events got a little out of hand, but she was fine when I last saw her.” Tony said.
“Yes, when she left here she was fine and dandy.” The man with the shoulder holster said with a chuckle.
Beatrice turned to him and she saw him place the broken cue stick on the table, rolling it slowly under his right hand. She saw the broken end and saw the image of Cassie lying on the pool table with that exact stick embedded in her young body.
“Really? So I saw her just recently and she did not look fine and dandy.” Beatrice said to the man and then turned to Tony.
“I really don’t know what could have happened to her honey, is she alright?” Tony said, adding concern in his voice.

“Well, I am wondering if possibly she could have gotten abused over there on that table by a few of these guys and actually with that exact stick.” Beatrice said.
“Beatrice, are you accusing my crew of a crime?” Tony said, his chest rising.
“Yeah, be careful little girl. You are a tasty little thing and I would hate for anything to happen to you.” The man said, lifting the broken stick.
“Yes, Tony, I guess I am. Do you deny that she was hurt here?” Beatrice said calmly.
Tony looked her straight in the eyes and smiled.
“Yes, I am denying that she was hurt here.” He said, and she heard the man with the stick chuckle.
Beatrice took a deep breath. She glanced at the man, he smiled a wicked smile. She looked at Tony and he was poised to stand.
“Ok then, no more talking.” Beatrice said.
As the last word left her mouth her left hand shot out and buried itself into Tony’s throat. She felt the windpipe crush beneath her fingers and the cracked gargle sound as he crumbled. “Tony, you have gone too far. The girl was a child and you hurt her terrible.” She whispered.
Tony struggled but could not speak, fighting to get air into his lungs.
“But Tony, do you know the real reason I am here?” She said to him.
Tony looked up at her, shaking his head no. Beatrice smiled and put her hands on the side of his head, almost looking like a caress. She looked at the crowd that was gathering. She spoke slowly but loudly enough for all to hear.
“There is only one Rose.” She said and twisted her hands.
The crowd gasped as Tony’s head spun around, the crackling of neck bones echoing through the bar. She released him, and he fell face first on the concrete floor. Beatrice stepped around the body and looked at the crowd. She opened her arms, the blood spattered on her arms, face, and chest.

She looked at the room. No one was moving. She looked at the table and saw Frankie standing next to the man with the stick in his chest, his large hand on the man’s shoulder. Frankie was holding a large shotgun. She smiled and nodded.

“Thank you, Miss Beatrice, yes, I understand completely. We will run the shop exactly as you wish.” Frances said.
“Excellent, now you remember Cassie, right?” Beatrice said, turning as she nodded at me.

I looked back and saw Beatrice and Frankie standing there, smiling. I felt my heart warm as Frances pulled us through the doors.
