“Do you have classes this afternoon?” he asked.
April shook her head. “I just have to turn a creative writing assignment in.”
“Are you a writer?”

“She’s good,” Cass told him. “You should read some of her stories.”
“I’d like to,” he said as he stood up. “I do have a class. Maybe you could give Cass a copy of one of your stories to give to me.”
April nodded. “if you want.”
Lucas smiled that entrancing smile. “I’d love to read something of yours. See you around.” He nodded toward Cass and turned to walk away.
Cass grinned at April. “That wasn’t so bad, was it? I think he kind of likes you.”
“He was just being nice,” April said closing the lid on the Styrofoam container and standing up. “I have to turn my paper in and go to the library.”
“Later,” Cass said as her friend walked away.

April laughed. “You really don’t want to take that history test, do you.”
He grinned at her. “I’ll make it up. You’ll need me to be supportive after this ordeal.”
April winced as she leaned down to pick up her bag. “God, I’m going to be sore for days.”
“Yeah,” Lucas breathed admiring the bite marks and bruises he’d inflicted. “I want to fuck you again already.”
