Swapping Fathers 3
Introduction:
As sexual as the four us were the first night we met, this story is not really about sexual acts. It might not be what you are looking for. But it does set the stage for a future full of sex. Soon we will go to a place where sex will become integral to everything we will create.

And just as Mike and I were settling in on our fifth cup of coffee for the morning, we both discovered this was not the best week for a new baby.
”Jim, I’m not sure how I’m going to handle this week. I’ve got a mandatory meeting early Tuesday morning in Destin. There’s no way I can get out of it. That means I have to leave sometime tomorrow. Kim’s mother is no longer with us so there’s no help there. Do you think there is any chance Ashley could spend some time with Kim while I’m gone?”
”Does she know you have to leave?”
”Yes she does and I’m sure she’ll say she will be fine. But this is her first child and I can’t see leaving her here alone.”
”Don’t worry. I know Ash. I bet they’ve already come up with plans for her moving in with Kim for a couple weeks! I’ve got the same problem. I’m starting a new project with 14 schools in Tallahassee and Panama City. I have to be up there too all week and likely next week. Sounds to me like the girls are going to get to know one another!”
”Great! I guess this is another reason why we were supposed to meet you two last night.”
”Synchronicities Mike! Just wait until they get down here. I bet they have it all planned out and maybe even be glad we are leaving. Serious girl time together! Let’s see if it’s the first thing they tell us. Think we can trust them while we are gone? Gawd, the things they might come up with. You may not be able to get Ash outta your house for months!”
”Two beautiful women around all the time? I could get used to that. Sounds like college to me and you might never get her back! But unfortunately I’m going to be in the panhandle much of the fall.”
”Me too Mike. Me too.”
Just then an attending nurse came out to greet us…
”Gentleman, you have two anxious women ready to leave our fine hospital! Mike if you want to bring your vehicle around out front, in 30 minutes I’ll wheel Kim out to you.”

”Kim, you packed your bag so well! I’m impressed. You thought of everything!”
”Well I’ve been traveling most of the time for two years. I’ve had plenty of practice.
Ash, please be honest with me about Jim. If he has reservations about you staying with me and Poppy, I’ll be fine with her. You can always visit.”
”Don’t be silly. I know Jim and I bet he’s expecting me to move in. Besides, I know he has to be up north much of the time this fall. I was actually wondering what I was going to do without him being around. Now I know. The fact that Mike has to be gone as well… Makes meeting you both last night seem like a divine appointment. “You are probably right Kim. The ability to stretch is largely controlled by your hormones. And one thing is for sure, there were plenty of them flowing last night. What a night. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better first time with a guy as I did with Mike! I absolutely love him. I’m looking forward to plenty of repeat performances!”
“Thanks for saying that. I’ve been thinking about Jim and all those heavy expectations I dumped on him last night. It has to seem very weird to him today. I hope all that I blurted out doesn’t affect things between us. I’m not sure why I fell so in love with him. Maybe it was just the dreams I was having but it felt like I had met a long lost love. I love Mike with all my heart but this was so very different.”
“Kim, you stirring up plenty of memories and feelings from last night. I just have to ask you something and please say no if this seems strange. Do you mind if I try nursing Poppy for a few minutes. My breasts are on fire?”

Yea it happened. I’m sorry if that sounds inappropriate to you. It was not for either of us, in the moment, and as Kim watched me cum. Nursing Poppy was easy and quick. ”Kim, are you ready? Looks like you are. Climb in. I’ll wrap this little lady up and let you hold her. Then I’ll wheel you down. Your husband is waiting with your car outside. Ashley, can you bring her belongings?”
Ten minutes later we told the guys I was moving in with Kim for as long as she needed me. They laughed at that for some reason. Soon the ”five of us” were headed home, ready to start a very interesting chapter in our lives…with Jim following close behind in our car.

“I love this part of Winter Park guys! These split lots and old brick streets add a charm you just can’t duplicate. Do you live on THIS street? This is like driving through a sculptured garden!”
“Yes we do Ash. Mike found a deal on a house here that needed updating. It was an estate sale. We are coming up on it soon. Check out the front yard landscaping and our boathouse on the right. We didn’t have to change it much. It was already one big garden down to the lake!
Ash, this old brick road is named Ferrero after the family that owned our house. The whole neighborhood here is loaded with attornies and judges. I think Orange County put them all here just to keep their eye on ‘em! Guess what they named their lake? ‘Lake Sue!’
As we pulled into their circular drive Kim exclaimed, “Here we are… what do you think?”
“Oh my goodness, I love it you guys!
“Well from now on this is your home away from home! We’ve got plenty space. Let’s go in. I’ll put my sleeping Poppy down, show you around and your room.”
Their house was visibly stunning from this lakeside street. It was built with beautiful stone blocks, two tall stories high, with a steep slate covered roof. As I went in I couldn’t believe their front door. It was the first thing about this house that I fell in love with! It was almost 4 inches thick, arched at the top, very wide, at least 8’ tall, made with what looked like hand hewn lumber and with obviously hand made giant old timey forged hinges. There’s nothing like a great door to set the tone for a nice home and I’ve never seen anything close to this one.
Once inside I was greeted with a foyer that matched the door. It was exquisitely appointed with granite flooring like I’ve never seen, complimented by a gorgeous mostly black silk Persian rug, and in the corner an antique coat, hat and umbrella stand. There was a large hand painted picture on both side walls, one with a beautiful ocean sunset and a very strange green cast to the horizon (the green flash of Key West) and the other of a beautiful swimming pool and garden. It all came with a vaulted ceiling to die for! The heavy rough hewn roof trusses that spanned their entire home definitely made this house “one of a kind.” There were gorgeous hand made staircases to the right and left of the middle great room with an enormous block fireplace all the way to the ceiling and full length walls of glass on either side revealing their backyard pool and exotic gardens. It was exactly the picture in the foyer. On either side of the great room, along the top, were handsomely railed open walkways that led to what I thought were three bedrooms on both sides. Even though this was not a huge mansion, it obviously was a very expensive home when first built. I couldn’t wait for Jim to see it!
Just then his car drove up and Kim remarked…
“That has to be Jim!”
“Come on in. Welcome to our humble home. You’re just in time. We were about to go upstairs and put the baby down and show Ash our bedrooms.”
“Humble my ass! Wow! I’ve never seen such an impressive entrance and this stunning great room. You’re going to have to tell me the story behind this house.”
Mike jumped in… “Jim, I heard of it prior to the passing of its owner who was the son of a very renown architect here in Florida. The house was 111 yrs old when we bought it four years ago. I still can hardly believe they sold it to me. But the family was fighting over the estate and decided to sell it in order to divide the proceeds. Their father wasn’t happy about it but did want to see it sold to someone that would really appreciate it and preserve its design and what he termed “its feel.” I met him before he passed. I’m Italian, and my ancestors just happened to be from his part of Italy. It sort of clinched the deal. The stone blocks, the trusses, the existing roof slate, much of the wood, the door and even the granite flooring were all imported from North Western Italy where his family hailed. I had to reveal any and all plans I had for all future changes in order to get the father’s approval. Other than relatively minor updating to the bedrooms and kitchen, the only substantive changes I’ve made are the floor to ceiling lights so we could see the gardens and the pool I added. It took some convincing, but when I laid out our landscaping plans for the new gardens and pools and got a local artist to paint the picture in the foyer, he could see how the new backyard would be revealed to this room. He loved it and signed off on the sale. I gave them the price they asked. I knew better than to try to negotiate something lower. Even so, it may now be worth double my investment.”
“Let’s go upstairs Jim. Check out these hand rails, all originals. There aren’t too many craftsmen that even know how to build something like this today.”
The view upstairs over looking the great room, the pool and gardens was breathtaking. From up top, the great room with all that glass surrounding the massive fireplace… well it came alive. Mike and Kim had appointed it well with antique furniture all around. I just wanted to take it all in when I heard Jim start to rave about the bedroom they entered.
The bedroom was one of the largest I’ve ever seen with a stunning canopy bed in the center, surrounded with graceful Victorian furniture. This was the type of room you might see in a movie.
“Come over here Ash. This is the crib we found in a wonderful Micanopy antique store.” Kim whispered. “It’s got exactly 100 turned spindles. Who would ever try to make such an elaborate thing? Mike got it for me years before we learned I was pregnant.”
Mike added, “Yea and that crib might have sealed the deal on getting this house. The old guy immediately recognized it as being made in Italy when I showed him the picture. He exclaimed… “That was made in Italy. That deserves to be in my house!”

From there, they showed Jim and me our room. It was on the left side of this balcony, beautifully appointed with similar period furniture and a gorgeous vase of cut flowers in the middle of an impressive antique table in front of the large window. I had to ask…
“Ok guys. Why the fresh flowers in this room? They are so beautiful and look terribly expensive! Were you expecting company?”
Mike answers… “Kim was for sure. She insisted I get them for the room before we left last night! Remember that dream of hers? Well… She had this hunch about meeting someone before we left. She ordered them from a local shop and had them delivered. Good thing. They wouldn’t have fit in anything I drive. I admit. I thought she was crazy extravagant about paying such a price to put them in an empty room. But I was wrong again and you will soon learn, when Kim senses something… It’s best to listen!”
The middle room was was even bigger and connected through interior doors to each side bedroom. It made a marvelous suite, creating a parlor/library type sitting room between the bedrooms with a gorgeous vaulted ceiling to the roof peak. This was a room that simply insisted you sit down, relax, forget your troubles, and let it provoke your imagination. We would, over the coming years, have the most interesting conversations and make the most dynamic plans in this very room. Looking back, as a woman with two marvelous men and a new mother and baby in my life, it seems this space wrapped its arms around the five of us, and made us think and interact like a singular person. I’m sure that sounds a bit preposterous but it’s exactly what happened. It changed the way I would look at any room from then on, always asking… ‘Does THIS room have any soul?’
These two bedrooms were where our children would be conceived… But this room was where we would birth miracles.
