CHAPTER 1

When I woke up the following morning, I went out to the kitchen table to get some pineapple juice and a couple slices of toast and butter. As I was eating my toast, I noticed that the porn twins had returned and were splashing around in one of the pools. The CG boys were also outside in the pools.

I got up from the kitchen table and walked outside. I called the two porn twins and the two CG boys over. Fred joined us so that my questions were asked and answered in an appropriate manner.

After the four of them were done splashing around, I asked them to join me in the dining room, which they did. I started with the CG boys. They were Fred’s nephews and Fred and I were curious as to where they have been for the last three weeks.

I asked the four of them where they have been and what they are up to. It turns out that they have gone to work for the DEA. The four of them had gone to Las Vegas which I wasn’t opposed to, but I think that it worried Fred a bit. He joined us at the table asking the boys questions about what they have been doing with the porn twins.

The porn twins both had wedding rings on their fingers. Dakota and Jill both asked what did that mean, where they all married or not? The porn twins shrugged their shoulders telling Fred and me to ‘not worry’ as they know what they are doing. I didn’t buy that answer for a moment and judging by Fred’s facial expression, neither did he.

However, wearing wedding rings made Fred and me look curiously at the rings. I started with the boys first asking them who asked who to get married. The boys told me that they asked the girls so that the four of them were appearing to be married. Fred asked them why the four of them were married, at first, we got a simple explanation that it was something that we didn’t need to put our nose into, but both Fred and I didn’t accept that explanation. Fred asked them who did the recruiting, but they were a bit vague as to who did what. To me, it felt as if the DEA did the recruiting and his nephews just followed along.

I asked the four of them if they received our text messages, and if they did why did they not respond? The four of them really had no good answer to our questions. The vague answer we received was that they needed to be married to fulfill the personnel profile that the DEA had built for the four of them.

I asked them who they were trying to stay away from. They told us that they were trying to keep from the Mexican drug cartel. The four of them went out into the desert around Las Vegas. The Mexicans didn’t seem to have the proper equipment. They only seemed to have a hookup in the desert. The CG boys brought their .50 caliber rifles and took out more than 25 Mexicans which surprised them. The porn twins stayed inside of a casino and played some penny slots, which brought them $500 of winnings and some safety.

Once again, the CG boys kept an eye on the Mexicans. Fred asked them if they felt as if they were being used by the DEA. The boys sat and thought a few minutes before they answered NO. I smiled when they told us NO, but I still didn’t believe them 100%. Fred and I worried about them. It was one thing for them to run drug interdiction in the waters off Somalia, but in the desert, it might be a different story. I asked them if they felt that they were safe in the desert. So far, they felt that they were safe. One of the boys told us about Special Agent Gwendolyn “Wendy” Wade. The DEA recruited her away from Homeland Security. They made her a project team lead. It is her job to lead a team of 20-25 agents to take on the drug cartels directly. Our CG boys seemed to be OK with Special Agent Wade. Since I didn’t know Agent Wade, I thought I would make a couple of phone calls to check on her.

I dialed up Fernandez and asked what he thought about the DEA using Fred’s nephews. Fernandez told me that it can easily go either way, usually, the DEA will try to hire people such as the CG boys and get them to aggressively take out the Mexican’s. I asked if I should worry about the CG boys being used against the drug cartel, Fernandez said it will depend on whom the DEA has running the project. I gave him the name of the agent who was the team lead. Fernandez said that he knows of Special Agent Wade and that she has a clean reputation but is tough and usually doesn’t leave a lot of loose ends. He also went on to tell me that the DEA looked for former military and former SWAT. They want people with some tactical experience before they recruit them.

I asked Fernandez how much his wife was enjoying working for me. He told me that he was very excited that she was working for Jaxson, Inc. He said that she told him every night that she went home that she was really enjoying the whole real estate division which made me smile.

He tells me that she finds working for me a bit quirky and she looks forward to going to the Hawk and firing up her computer to get people’s houses listed in the MLS. She enjoys going to the Hawk every single day, plus she likes working for Jennifer.

After time went on, I decided that it was time to unveil my new project. I dialed up the people that I needed and had them pull the three tractor-trailers out in front of the Hawk. The back doors opened, and ramps fell from the back door to the ground allowing an F1 to slowly back out of the trailer. There was a second trailer that opened, and a race car known as a ‘funny car’ emerged from inside the trailer. Again, it was adorned in Jaxson, Inc colors.

Both drivers were introduced, although virtually no one knew who they were. I stood in the sun at the entrance to the Hawk having multiple pictures taken with the new race team. The funny car was part of the NHRA group. Funny car is one level below top fuel. They usually travel the quarter-mile in just a hiccup over 4 seconds often in the high 3 seconds. I had contacted the veteran of Funny Car, John Force. He was a guiding light on starting a team to compete in Funny Car. He has two beautiful daughters that also race NHRA. One in funny car with him and the other in Top Fuel.

The other car, the F1 had lots of media taking pictures of the car and myself standing in front of the race vehicle. The guy we hired was from Germany and virtually no one in the US knew him. I chatted with the driver and asked him how excited he was to drive for Jaxson, Inc. He told me that he figured that it would take a few months to gain some traction with the fans. I agreed and asked him when the race in Long Beach would take place, he quoted the week and day of the race. I told him that I was looking forward to a race that most people in the US were not familiar with. He suggested a marketing plan regarding tee shirts that intrigued me. He said that people love to buy tee shirts as souvenirs from the race event. He said that virtually everywhere the teams sell the tee shirts for $20 and up. His suggestion was to keep the cost of the tee-shirt the first two years at $10 which made a whole bunch of sense to me. I dialed up our marketing people and gave them the direction to price all our tee shirts at $10.

Once again, Tony Stewart made an appearance and we chatted with our opinions about NASCAR. He told me that there was still an opening in the truck series and that he would like to see Jaxson, Inc. take advantage of it. I told him that we would put a vehicle in the truck series and will look forward to Tony helping us make our way through the truck series. He agreed that he would do so, and we ended the conversation.

Once the press conference was over, I took the time to dial up Special Agent Wade. I reached her voicemail and left her a message that I would like to have a discussion with her about Fred’s nephews. I left my phone number and Fred’s number hoping to hear from her shortly.

After the press conference about the three-race teams, I dialed up Dakota and asked her how she was feeling.

“How’s my darling feeling today?” I asked.

“Well, I miss you, Daddy. How’s the day going?” she replied.

“It’s going OK. I’m trying to reach a Special Agent Wade of the DEA. I want to speak to her about the CG boys and them being used by the DEA. I want to first make sure that they are surrounded by quality agents and second, I want to make sure that the boys are not walking into some sort of ambush since they are taking on the Mexican drug cartel,” I tell her.

“Well Daddy, what can I do for you,” she says to me in a serious manner.

“Darling, right now I don’t think that there’s much for you to do, but if I think of something, I will let you know,” I say to her.

We exchange our declarations of love for each other before we hang up.

Since we are driving, I ask Fred if we could find a place for him and me to chat a bit. He takes me to this out of the way pub that he knows about and parks the town car that we’re driving in. Once it’s parked, we both get out and head inside.

“Fred what’re your thoughts on your two nephews working for the DEA and having a profile of two guys who have brand new brides. I really don’t think that they thought this through all the way,” I say to Fred.

“I think you have the right idea. The boys are patriotic and believe that they are doing the right thing to help this country. However, I worry that now they have two wives which make them a bit weaker as they now must protect the twins and still put themselves into hostile situations. I think that the twins need to go back to the pool house at the Chateau to remain safe,” Fred says to me. What he said made a lot of sense.

I ordered myself a Coke and Fred ordered a glass of Sprite. I’m sure the bartender was laughing at both of us ordering a couple of sodas and no alcohol.

CHAPTER 2

We looked up at the TV that was playing over the bar. Once again, I saw my face on the TV. The TV was showing me standing in front of our three race teams along with Tony Steward and John Force. We had a good presence on TV, and I was happy about that.

While Fred was drinking his Sprite, my phone buzzed.

“Hello, this is David Greene,” I said as I answered the phone.

“Hi Mr. Greene, this is Special Agent Wade,” The voice on the other end of the phone said.

“Ah, Special Agent Wade, thank you for calling me back,” I say to her.

“What can I do for you sir?”

“Well, I have a couple of questions about the two guys that used to be in the Coast Guard and are now working for you. I would like more details on what they do for you,” I say to her.

“Oh, you’re talking about Derrick and James Patrick. What can I answer for you?” she asks me.

“Well, first, they tell me that they are part of a 20-25-person team,” I tell her.

“Yes, they are part of a team about that size,” she tells me.

“May I ask about their safety?” I question.

“Well, not really. Since they both did drug interdiction over in Somalia, they were the perfect candidates for us to recruit,” she tells me.

“Um, how much are you paying them?” I ask expecting a poor pay scale.

“Well, we are paying them by the event,” she tells me.

“What does that me, by the event?” I ask.

“It means that when the team has interaction with the drug cartel people, they get paid for that amount of time only,” she tells me.

“Special Agent Wade, we need to change that way of paying these boys starting today. Either pay them all the time or take them off your payroll. I have lots of work for them to do if you can’t pay them properly,” I tell her. I get a long pause before she replies, “I will put through the necessary paperwork to get them paid more money,” she tells me.

“Ms. Wade, if they get hurt while interacting with the Mexican Drug Cartel group, will their new brides get the money?” I ask expecting a negative answer.

“Well, sir I’ll have to check into that,” she tells me.

“Agent Wade, I know that you can’t just make these decisions. You work for the government, but your agency set up a profile for them and they followed through and now they must worry about their new brides in addition to their own safety. Please let’s get this changed to make sure that the boys are being paid properly and that their wives are going to get injury or death benefits,” I tell her. She agrees that she will put through the paperwork and change things. I thank her for her time and for taking the time to call me back.

I tell Fred about the conversation that I just had with Special Agent Wade. He agrees with me that the boys need to be paid properly. We finish up our soda and head to the house.

The drive home was quite easy as the traffic was very light. When we reached the gates, Fred as usual poked the necessary buttons to get us inside the two gates and into the courtyard. He pulled the town car into one of the garages. He parked the car and we headed inside the house. I found Dakota first. She got up off the chair she was on and put her arms around me and hugged me and kissed me. As we were breaking from our hug and kiss, I flipped up her tee-shirt to check if she had panties on or not. She did.

Bobby and Sammy were cooking dinner. They had pork chops with a white gravy going on. They also had mashed potatoes along with buttered corn and biscuits. It just smelled delightful.

Since it was after 5 pm, many of the ladies who live at the Chateau were home or just arriving home. I saw Allison and Belinda. I asked them about what their opinions were about the porn twins and the CG boys now being married. They said that they thought it was a bad idea since the marriage wasn’t out of love for each other, it was to fulfill something that the DEA had requested.

As I was sitting at the kitchen table, I felt this soft pair of hands cover my eyes. I guessed that it was Tina, but I was wrong. Ronda had appeared at the Chateau just about an hour before Fred and I arrived. She whirled around me and sat her cute little ass on my lap once again. Clearly, she was on the horny side as she wrapped her legs around me and pulled herself into me. We kissed much like teenagers before Ronda got off my lap and took me by the hand down the hall to my bedroom.

Just like the day before, she shed my clothing and hers and took me into the bathroom for us to take a long hot shower to relax before we got intimate. She opened the shower door and we both stepped in. I turned on the hot water getting both of us wet. Ronda took the shampoo and washed my hair. I took the shampoo and did the same to her. We spent quite a while cleaning each other.

When we were done, we turned the water off and got a couple of towels to begin drying each other off. I took my time caressing and drying Ronda’s beautiful body. Once we were both dry, we tossed the towels into the hamper and went out into the bedroom to climb onto one of the play beds. We embraced each other gently caressing and licking and kissing each other. We spent a couple of hours being intimate. At some point, Jill peeked her head into the bedroom telling us that dinner was ready and if we didn’t get our bodies to the kitchen, John would eat our share of dinner. We both smiled and proceeded out to the kitchen holding hands the entire way out there.

I did everything that I could do to play with Ronda. Both Dakota and Jill managed to get Ronda into a process in the kitchen so that Ronda was ready to play with me. She took me by the hand down the hallway and into my bedroom.

I easily stripped all my clothes off and so did Ronda. She took me by the hand and lead me to a play bed making sure that we both managed to intertwine with each other.

Allison, BJ, Amy, Belinda, Dakota, Jill, Tina, Donna, Jennifer, Diane, and John all spent time making plates for dinner. The ladies all looked beautiful.

It was very important to make all the ladies come into the Chateau. Maybe I made all of them work hard at being in the play beds in my bedroom. They each brought themselves into the bedroom pulling me onto one of the play beds. I gladly allowed the ladies to pull me onto a bed before they played with me. I just smiled as they had their way with me.

Of all the women, I found myself attracted to Allison. Once again, she made herself available to me on the play bed. The other ladies were delightful, but I knew that Allison wanted me without a doubt. Although Allison and I played, Ronda joined in as well. She kept declaring her love for me which I found very erotic.

Fred and I still worried about his nephews and their new wives. We worried about the DEA using the two nephews. However, we were not going to allow the two nephews to randomly take aim at the Mexican drug cartel. John, I, and Fred all went with his nephews. We chatted with the DEA people and Special Agent Wade. She indicated that she was putting the CG boys to take out several of the drug cartel people. Now it was time to go to war and make the Mexican’s pay for their sins against our CG guys. The drug guys were hiding in an old dilapidated house. Special Agent Wade was happy that we came along to add some strength to the DEA side of the equation.

James and DJ both took their .50 caliber rifles. We all traveled out into the desert just outside of LA. We had the porn twins at the Chateau for safety. Special Agent Wade brought extra agents along for the attack on the Mexicans. Fred and I took aim and ensured that the Mexicans found themselves on the wrong side of the attack. With the 25 agents, plus the CG boys and Fred, John, and myself we ended up eliminating 66 bad guys. We all hooted and hollered taking down that many bad guys.

John, Fred, and I didn’t feel as if there was enough protection for all the agents. Special Agent Wade did her job and ensured that everyone was safe, however, John, Fred and I took aim at the Mexicans and used the cars that Special Agent Wade had us bring, which were a government issue. It was nice to take down more bad guys. They were not going to attack the Chateau. They were going to find out that we were ready for them and would take them down.

Once we all got back from the desert, I invited Special Agent Wade to come to have a late dinner with all of us at the Chateau. Agent Wade was hesitant to ride back to the house with us, but we convinced her to come to dinner. We explained about Bobby and Sammy. I think the idea of two chefs excited her.

Once we got back to the Chateau, I asked what Bobby and Sammy had prepared for dinner. We were told that they had prepared some beef tips and noodles along with a fresh salad that had some feta cheese added to it in addition Bobby made a couple of loaves of sourdough bread. Sammy also made three cakes, one lemon crème, one chocolate vanilla swirl, and one banana.

We all took seats at the dining room table. I think that Special Agent Wade was amazed at the sheer size of the Chateau.

“Agent Wade, do you like beef tips and noodles?” I asked.

“Absolutely,” she tells me.

“Can you tell me about your house. It is so large,” she says.

“How did you come to acquire this property?” She asks.

“Well, you are correct. It is very large. In fact, it is 28.000 square feet. 20 bedrooms and 31 bathrooms. We have two of the most advanced video gaming rooms, a pool table room, three kitchens, two offices, and three master suites. Our garage will hold 20 vehicles and the courtyard will hold another 25. And best of all, we acquired the house for free. And, we helped the FBI take down some Russian brothers that had been wanted for a couple of years but just kept under the radar and were nearly impossible to catch, but thankfully they were more greedy than ever and fell for the FBI’s trap that we set for the closing of the property,” I tell her.

“Well, that’s kind of a long story. Are you willing to hear it all?” I ask.

“Of course, I am, I would not have asked it I wasn’t,” she says to me.

“Well, Agent Wade, it started with a lady named Sasha who ran the Happy, Happee Limo company. As she was running this company, I was dating a lady named Tina, who is standing right behind you with a plate full of dinner. Tina and I met a group of college kids at an IHOP one night, which is where we met John and Diane. Now when we first met them, John was just part of her group. As they were at the register dealing with a horrible waitress, they were a bit short on their funds to pay their bill. I had made an incredible amount of money in tips that night. I walked up to the register and asked what the problem was. The waitress kept threatening to send them all to jail for dine and dash. I asked what their total was, she didn’t tell me. I had to ask a second time before she answered me. It turned out that they owed about $75. I pulled out a $100 bill and left it for the waitress paying their bill and giving her a large tip. The very next night Jill was assigned to be my trainer that evening. I learned a lot from her. After we finished our shift, it was about 1 am. We spent some time discussing some tips on being successful in the limo business. We parted and headed home. When I reached my apartment, my phone kept ringing. I answered it and I got a hysterical Jill who had been in a serious car accident. She told me where she was, in what hospital. I jumped back into my car and drove as fast as I could to the hospital that she was taken to. When I arrived there, I asked the security guard where Jill Morgan was located. He told me what exam room she was in and I headed to that exam room.

Once I arrived at the door to the exam room, she summoned me to come in. By this time, she had an IV in her arm and they had a bag of fluids being put into her. While I was there, they shot her up with morphine which made her very chatty. While she was sitting on the exam bed, she declared her love for me. Now what I haven’t told you was that Tina and I decided to part ways after IHOP that evening. We just felt like we weren’t heading anywhere together. Tina was the smarter one between us and asked for me to let her out of our relationship, which I did.

As I stood there in the ER, I held Jill tightly. The nurse came into the exam room to tell her about the results of the pregnancy test that they took before they shot her full of morphine and before they took her to the place in the hospital to do an MRI. I offered to step out, but Jill told the nurse that she wanted me to stay and that she didn’t have anything to hide from me. Now mind you, at this point, I was just her trainee. The nurse reluctantly told Jill that she was pregnant. Jill put her head into me and just sobbed as she knew that the guy who got her pregnant wasn’t coming back. I put my arms around her and just held on.

It wasn’t until 6 am that they found a room for her as they were going to keep her at least overnight but maybe a couple of days, which it turned out they kept her a week. Now the lady, Sasha only showed up once to check on Jill. When I arrived to see Jill, Sasha tried to make it very uncomfortable, but I didn’t care because I knew she wasn’t a good manager of Happy, Happee Limo.

One would think that your best driver going into the hospital after a major accident which totaled the car that she was driving. Sasha only showed up once to visit Jill. While she was there, Sasha made an issue with me and her. I kept my mouth shut and let her just run her mouth on and on.

From there, I came to see Jill several times a day, which made Jill feel loved, which she was. I spoke to the charge nurse to ensure that Jill was healing, which she was doing so quite well. Once Jill was released from the hospital, I pulled into a jewelry store under the impression that I wanted to pick out a wedding set. I had Jill with me when she was released from the hospital. I pulled into the jewelry store for which Jill was yelling at me to quit being stupid. She pushed at me telling me that I’m causing an issue between Tina and myself. However, unbeknownst to Jill, it was her that I wanted to marry. She never saw it coming. I had her pick out 4 wedding sets under the guise that it was for Tina, but instead, it was for Jill. As she picked out her favorite wedding set, she fussed at me that the set was her favorite, but that doesn’t mean it would be Tina’s favorite. I had it already set up for the notary public in the jewelry store to marry us. She was crying as the notary read the words that made us man and wife.

Our first night, we stayed at my apartment. That really didn’t go over that well.

CHAPTER 3

Once I told Agent Wade the story of Jill and me, I forgot to tell her how I acquired the Chateau. I told her that at first, I called the house a different name other than the Chateau. She smiled at that tidbit.

I let her know that Sasha used the licenses of Happy, Happee Limo to hide some of the licenses underneath the limo company. I also went on to tell her about all the companies that we acquired such as the Horse track and the casinos. I also explained that selling the horse track brought in Jaxson, Inc. one billion dollars, money that the board of directors was not expecting. I told Wade about Melanie Jaxson coming to live at the Chateau when Bob Jaxson passed away. She sold her beachfront house in the Hamptons and gladly moved into the Chateau because it was so full of life. Young college-aged people that she has taken a position as their ‘Mom’ which they all call her.

As we were sitting at the table eating, I heard a knock at the front door. When Jennifer opened it, there stood Ronda wanting to play with me. I excused myself from the dining room table to go greet Ronda with a deep passionate kiss. She clearly wanted to play with me, but I whispered in her ear that I had a guest that I needed to finish with before we went to play. She nodded her head and I sat back down at the dining room table. Sammy brought out the three cakes, all of which was delicious. I took some banana cake along with a slice of the chocolate-vanilla swirl cake. Agent Wade took a slice of the lemon cream cake. She took small bites moaning after each bite.

“Agent Wade, what do you think about the Chateau?” I ask her.

“It’s beautiful. Probably the most beautiful house that I have ever been in,” She tells me.

“Well Agent Wade, are you married?” I asked.

“No, unfortunately, because of the hours I kept doing this job, I ended up getting divorced,” she tells me.

“Well, I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe at some point, we can find you a decent guy to date. Special Agent Fernandez from the FBI has found that I can put couples together and often they work out. Maybe we can get you, someone, as well,” I say to her smiling the whole time.

Special Agent Wade thanked me for dinner and a great story as well as providing more people to back up her team in the desert. She got up and left the house. I had Fred take the limo and drive her either home or back to the office, where I assumed her car was located. They left together and Fred estimated that he would be back at the house in about an hour to ninety minutes. I just smiled as I know he is accurate in his time estimations.

Once Agent Wade was gone, Ronda took hold of my hand and pulled me down the hallway to my bedroom. Once we were inside, she shucked my clothes and pulled me into the shower stall once again.

She pushed me back against the wall to get me all wet before she shampooed my hair. Once that was finished, she went about cleaning my body. When she got to the rinsing part, I pulled her into me and stood underneath the hot water emanating from the showerhead. I shampooed her hair just as she did mine. Once we were all clean, we took our time to dry each other off, tossing our wet towels into the hamper once again.

I’m starting to see a different look in Ronda’s eyes. She is clearly thinking about me helping her create a baby. So far it hasn’t occurred, but who knows when it may happen.

Ronda is a beautiful woman who his insanely smart. She has taken great care in everyone here at the Chateau. She has made numerous house calls to keep us all healthy. She randomly pops in to check on the three pregnant ladies before having her way with me, which I approve.

When Ronda and I play together, we usually go for a couple of hours. Occasionally either Dakota or Jill will join us, but lately, it has just been Ronda and myself in the play beds. Tonight, I was much more energized than usual. Mostly this was because of the run with the DEA guys the adrenaline had me pumped up and ready to be a bit more aggressive with Ronda than usual. After we play for nearly two and a half hours, Ronda gets up kisses me and lets me know that she must leave. When I ask why she tells me that she has patients that she had to check on early in the morning.

Since Ronda and I had such a long playtime, it was easy for me to change beds into the sleep bed. As I got comfortable, Dakota decided to join me in my sleep bed. As usual, she got into the bed and put her back to my front and pushed herself into me. Once she was comfortable, she grabbed my arm and draped it over her. In doing that, I just pulled her into me.

I whispered into her ear that I loved her which caused her to wiggle her ass into me.

The next morning, when my eyes opened, I felt very worn out, but it took me only a few minutes to figure out why. I had an early lunch and a late dinner. Since it was Friday, I decided that it would be much later before I head into the office. Once again, I took a shower, but this time by myself. When I finished, a beautiful Dakota came into the bathroom to take over the shower. I gave her a passionate good morning kiss and headed out to put on some clothes. As usual, I put on a pair of shorts and a white tee shirt. I left the bedroom and walked down the hallway to get my morning glass of pineapple juice and head upstairs to my office. It has been about 24 hours since I worked on the emails on my laptop.

I poured my glass of juice and headed up to the office. Once I got there, I turned on my laptop and sat in my chair. I thought about the chair and decided that I needed to get a new one. There wasn’t really anything wrong with the chair, it just wasn’t as soft and comfortable as I wanted it to be.

Finally, after what seemed to be an abnormally long wait the laptop was fired up and ready to run. As usual, I eliminated the duplicate emails. After that I looked for specific emails from people. I found one from IT, Rob. He said that he is sending me the final report regarding the employee ID verification. All in all, he found 287 people that were still on our payroll that were not working for us. I looked at my calendar and started to make notes for the upcoming HR conference. I printed out the list of people still on our payroll that should have been terminated. Rob also put a dollar amount to the overpayment to these people. I had a thought while I was waiting for my printer to print out, that maybe some of those still on the payroll is somehow related to someone in the HR department.

I texted Dakota to come to the office when she gets a chance. It was only a few minutes, but as usual, Dakota was by my side waiting to take on the items that I wanted her to take care of. I asked her to match up the HR district with the employee who failed to terminate the employee. She grabbed the papers off the printer and began using Jill’s computer so she could put the proper HR person next to the employee’s name. This way I could see if one or two HR employees were guilty of most of the lack of terminations. In my head, I suspected that Dallas would be one of the issue districts.

I sent a reply to Rob thanking him for his hard work on this project. I looked through more emails to find another one from Roger. He explained to me that we probably need to go large city by large city on setting up security for the Pinetree. I replied that it sounded fine and to go forward on that project.

The contractors who were handling the room conversions for the Pinetree sent me a list of units that have been modified with the upgrades. I thanked them for their hard work and asked that they make sure they send us a current bill to be paid. I forwarded the email to Jill to make sure she knew what we were being sent a bill for.

I saw an email from the horse track manager down in Tampa Florida. He poked fun at me for not coming to see him before I sold off the horse tracks. I thought about it and decided that maybe the playgroup need to take the jet to Tampa. It would be very nice to see all of our beautiful ladies in their bikinis laying on the white sands of the beaches in Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, and Gulfport. Of course, we have such a delightful house that we probably don’t need to go all the way there to layout. However, I will think about it. I liked the manager from the horse track in the Tampa Bay area, he was a hard worker, he focused on taking care of his customers, and he was a decent boss as well since his staff turnover was really low.

I sent him a reply email telling him that the next time we are in the Tampa Bay area that I would look him up.

I never saw Dakota leave Jill’s desk but somehow, she did. I looked over at my juice glass and found it already refilled. I put a call into Sharon at the office to see how things were going, she told me that is was a very slow day and even the ride into work was easy as there wasn’t much traffic on the roads today. Once we discussed the office, I asked to be transferred to Jennifer.

“This is Jennifer, how may I help you?” She answered the phone.

“Well, this is David Greene, how are you doing darling?” I asked.

“Well, I’m finishing up on the Eagle, it should be all cleaned up and our long-term tenant should be happy,” she tells me.

“That’s good news darling. How is the new girl working out?” I ask.

“She’s doing just fine. She’s a hard worker. I keep having to stop her so she can get some lunch. She just keeps her nose to the proverbial grindstone and works as a slave. I like her. I think you really picked a cherry for our team,” Jennifer tells me.

“Jennifer, how is John doing? I know that he went on the DEA run the other night, but I’m worried about how his mental state is with Diane pregnant and now beginning to show,” I tell her.

“Well, so far he hasn’t complained to me about anything, which is surprising to me after all the years I spent with him growing up. You really influenced him David and I love you for that,” she says to me.

“Thank you, dear, I appreciate that. Hey, what do you think about throwing the three ladies a baby shower?” I ask her.

“Oh, that sounds wonderful, who are you going to put in charge of it?” She asks me.

“Well, I was thinking you and Amy,” I tell her.

“That would be wonderful. When do you want this to happen?” She asks me.

“Well since Diane is due in June, Dakota in July, and Jill late August I was thinking maybe April or early May,” I say to her.

“That sounds like a good time. Now do you want all three at the same time or do you want three different showers?” She asks me.

“Darling, I’m putting you completely in charge of this whole project,” I say to her.

“Well, that would be fine. I’ll set everything up and let you know when to show up,” she says to me. I thank her for making it easy for me.

I look at the clock and see that it is almost 4 pm. I ask her to transfer me back to Sharon. She tells me that she loves me just before she transfers the phone call. When I get Sharon, I tell her that it’s close enough to end the day and to go ahead and close the office down for the day, which makes Sharon happy. She asks me what the chefs are making for dinner. I had to put her on hold and call down to the kitchen. They told me that they are making a marinated grilled chicken breast, along with buttered baby peas, cauliflower and a large salad with shredded Mexican cheese and kalamata olives.

Jennifer asked me if we could invite the new girl to dinner with her husband. She says that she’s heard so much about the Chateau and would like to see it and interact with some of the people who live there. I tell her if she would like to join us tonight, she is more than welcome. She puts me on hold while she calls her husband who tells her that is, she can get to my house he will meet her there and then they would ride home together. I tell Jennifer to put the new girl in the car and bring her home with you, Sharon, Diane, BJ, and Danni.

As I was still on the phone with Jennifer, I heard Sharon going around from desk to desk telling everyone to shut off their computer and go ahead and head home per the boss. I just smiled as I wasn’t aware that Sharon referred to me in that manner. I told her that I would see her when she gets home and we can all sit down as a family and eat together.

When I hang up, I look through some more of the emails. I don’t find anything that really sticks out just a bunch of read-only emails. I begin my journey into reading them and deleting them once read. When I start there is about 275 and I know that it will take a couple of hours to read and delete them. As I’m reading them, my phone buzzes. I pick it up and see that it is a hidden number.

“Hello,” I say into my phone not knowing who may be on the other end of the phone call.

“This is Special Agent Wade, is this David?” She asks me.

“Yes, it is Agent. What can I do for you?” I ask.

“Well, I need for you join my group as we are going after another hideout in the desert tomorrow night if you’re willing,” she says to me.

“Do you want all of us?” I asked.

“Well yes, why do you have more to bring?” She asks me.

“Um, well actually I do. I have 6 former Secret Service Agents that have a rotation schedule to take care of Jill, Dakota, and myself. I got fussed at after you left the other night that I didn’t take at least one of them with me even though John and Fred both went. I pay them to watch over my personal safety, which I didn’t do. So, if you would like a bit more help, then we’re available tomorrow night,” I say to her.

“Well, heck yes we can use any or all of them,” Agent Wade says to me. I assure her that at least two agents will join us in the desert on the side of the good guys which made her giggle a bit.

After another 45 minutes, I was tired of reading the emails and heard some people downstairs, so I turn off my computer and head downstairs. Once I got down to the first floor, I headed into the kitchen where I saw everyone including the new girl Fernandez’s wife. She said that he had to stop by the office first. I saw her eyes roll, which I get from both Dakota and Jill when I must ‘just do a small bit of work’.

I noticed the dinner that Bobby and Sammy were cooking for us. I looked into a couple of the pots on the stove and saw that we didn’t have cauliflower, instead, we had asparagus.

“Bobby, I thought we were having cauliflower?” I asked.

“Well, we were until I lost track of it and burned the whole pot. So now I’m scrambling to replace the vegie with something different,” Bobby tells me.

“Sammy, what are tonight’s cakes and desserts?” I ask.

“Well, once again we have three cakes, one strawberry crème, one milk chocolate with a chocolate frosting, and one a NY style cheesecake with cherry topping. We also have chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies,” he tells me. I think about John and his appetite. Having cookies is probably a good idea.

After a few minutes, most of the house starts showing up from work. Oddly enough, Mom came out to the dinner table which I introduced her to Fernandez’s wife as Melanie Jaxson the current controlling stockholder in Jaxson, Inc.

After several minutes, Fernandez showed up ready for dinner. I joked with him that he must have smelled the cooking food all the way back to the office. He replied that when an agent is offered a free meal, they show up like ants at a picnic, which made me laugh.

I have had a really nice few days and am happy with Special Agent Wade so far. Patrick and Heidi Longmire seem to be a couple. Special Agent Fernandez expresses thanks for hiring his wife.

Once everyone gets a plateful of dinner, I raise my glass of Coke and welcome all our new friends. Fernandez wants to know about how the mission with the DEA was a couple of nights back. He said that there was a memo sent to everyone in the field office for the FBI that they were encouraging agents to assist their sister agency. He laughed at the memo, but he wanted me to know which tells him that they are understaffed for the mission.

I told Fernandez that most of us guys were going on another mission Saturday night however, this time one or two of the SS agents will be joining us for protection. Fernandez said he will join my group if I didn’t mind, which of course I don’t.

We all sat around and enjoyed each other’s company over dinner with everyone having a plateful food. John, of course, was the first one done with his plate, but he got himself seconds. What was nice to see was him asking Diane if she wanted any more dinner, which she declined.

I APOLOGIZE FOR TAKING SO LONG IN TURNING OUT THIS CHAPTER. I WASN’T FEELING WELL AND MOM HAD SOMETHING CALLED A ‘TIA’ IN HER LEFT EYE. I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS IN THE HOSPITAL ER AND THEN IN HER ROOM AS THEY KEPT HER OVERNIGHT. ANYWAYS, I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR PATIENCE WITH ME……PABLO DIABLO.
