Breaking out of a Boring Life
Introduction:
this is my first story. constructive criticism will be very helpful
My name is Daniel, and I’m a college student at a small university in Bum Fuck Egypt, South Carolina. I am 26, and yeah I know that’s a little old to still be in college unless you’re doing graduate work, but I wasted a few years of my life and now I have to play catch up, so to speak. I actually had some college credits from another institution in another town in BFE, but I moved with my parents to another part of the state. Yes I still live with my parents, too. Well, I did until about a month ago. If that bothers you then you don’t have to read this. I suppose I should give a physical description of myself too, that’s how these things usually work. I am kind of short for a guy, 5’6’’, and kind of fat too, but not “confined to a wheel chair cause I can’t walk five steps” fat. I can’t run any marathons or anything like that, but my obesity doesn’t interfere with my day to day life. I also have some pretty standard hobbies, video games, reading, and music. And porn. I love porn.
This story isn’t about how I was a no lifer who lived with his parents for way too long though, this is the story of how it all changed. At the time of my writing this it is October, about halfway through the fall semester of the 15-16 school year, but this story starts last June.
It was the middle of summer in South Carolina, which is hell. The average temperature for the month so far was 102 Fahrenheit, and it was so humid condensation would form on the outsides of windows and glass doors. I was working on campus as a student assistant for one of the history professors, but I was pretty much a gopher for the whole history department. My days were spent taking intra-campus mail and other things like that back and forth all across campus. The campus isn’t big, you can walk from one end to the other in less than ten minutes, but in hundred-degree heat and god-awful humidity it totally sucked. And I had to wear slacks and a dress shirt and tie.
Summer classes were in full swing and I saw plenty of students around campus, but they were all indoors, usually in the student center with its A/C, pool table, ping-pong table, HD TVs and XBOXs. In addition to gophering for pretty much anything anywhere, I sometimes had to give campus tours, although usually to people someone important on campus was trying to impress for some donations to a scholarship fund or whatever. I didn’t care, none of them were beautiful women my age, or even women a little older. They were usually gray-haired grannies (when they were women) or old men.
One morning the professor I work for, Matt Hammond, called me into his office and told me they needed me to give a campus tour to a prospective student, which at the time was a first, the student assistants in the admissions office always gave the tours to them. He said they were already waiting and to hurry the hell up, which is how he always talks, he’s actually a really nice guy, the former marine officer in him just comes out like that a lot. I hauled ass over to the admissions office because I didn’t want Dr. Hammond to catch any crap, because for every ounce of crap he caught, I was going to catch twenty. Once again, former marine officer.
I got there about five minutes later; I took my time because of the heat. I went into the office and looked around. There was no one at the desk. Then I heard people talking in the back. “Hello?” I called out. A woman walked out from the back. I knew her by sight, if not by name.
“Ah, you must be Hammond’s student assistant. Right this way.” She led me through a small swinging gate in between the desks at the front and into the back of the office, then into her office.
Sitting in one of the chairs adjacent to the door and facing the desk was a woman not much younger than myself. She was maybe twenty-three or twenty-four, she was what most would call pleasingly plump, or as we say in South Carolina she had some meat on her bones. I could tell even when she was sitting that she was short, probably only 5’2”, maybe an inch or so more. A lot of guys would have probably thought she was fat, but I have always judged women more by classical standards of beauty, and to me she was just right. She had on a yellow blouse and a frilly sort of blue and white skirt on with flip flops peeking out from the skirt which was full length. Her toe nails were painted alternating red and white as were her fingernails. She had a slightly dark complexion and her hair was jet black and pulled over her left shoulder in a long braid. She had grey eyes in a face that was almost slightly vulpine. If it had been a little narrower and longer it certainly would’ve been vulpine, but taken with the rest of her it only enhanced her beauty.
The woman stopped me just outside the door. “What is you name again?” she asked in a quiet voice.
“Daniel Wright” I said just as quietly. She stepped past me into the office. “Daniel, this is Ms. Morgan Morris” she said as I stepped into the room after her. The woman stood up and held out her hand.
“Nice to meet you.” She smiled and I smiled back. Her voice was a little deeper than most women, she would probably sing alto, but it seemed to suit her for some reason I couldn’t put my finger on.
“Nice to meet you too.” I let go of her hand. “Would you like to get your tour started?”
“Please.” She followed me out of the office. I took her to each of the buildings on campus, telling her the history of the building, what it was used for, when it was built. As we walked from building to building we talked about some of our hobbies. We both liked gaming, and anime, and even some of the same anime. I asked about her family, and she said they were in Canada, which it turned out she was from. She did tell me her father was originally from Mexico, and her mother was Japanese Canadian. Well that explains her height, I thought to myself. We finished the tour and I took her back to the admissions office.
“Thank you. That was fun” she said with a smile.
“You’re welcome” I said, returning her smile. The woman came out from the back with a stack of papers in her hand, and Morgan followed her back into the back. I returned to the humanities building, where I worked on the third floor with Dr. Hammond.
The rest of the summer passed with nothing out of the ordinary happening, and I had put Morgan out of my mind, except for the occasional dream of her, which I found a little odd, but I was too busy helping Dr. Hammond and the rest of the history faculty get ready for the start of the semester.
I came in to work early on the start of the fall semester to get some work in before my classes, and there in Dr. Hammond’s office was Morgan, wearing a Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy t-shirt and worn jeans and flip flops. Her finger and toe nails were painted alternating light blue and brown, the school colors.
“Daniel, good, get your ass in here.” I went in and sat down in the other chair facing the desk. “Ms. Morris has requested you as a student mentor.”
“Really?” I said before I could stop myself.
“Is that a problem?” he asked, but his tone said it didn’t matter if it was a problem for me or not. Men don’t usually mentor women, she must have asked Dean Berkley, nicknamed the Iron Lady. Dean Berkley is Southern Baptist and was very strict about male-female student relations, and if she thought she could get away with it I’m sure she would ban all contact between male and female students. What I wouldn’t have given to have been a fly on the wall in that conversation. I realized I hadn’t replied and about a minute had gone by.
“No, sir that’s not a problem at all.” He simply nodded then nodded to the door. I stood up and walked out, with Morgan right behind me. I stopped once I was a little ways down the hall from Hammond’s office and turned to face her although I wasn’t sure what I was going to say.
“Thanks” she said. “I look forward to being mentored by you.” Then she giggled. I had to turn away from her because I started getting a chubby. I was hoping she hadn’t noticed. “Well I should get to my class.”
My chubby was gone as soon as it came, thank God. “Who do you have?” I asked turning back around.
She showed me her schedule for the semester. We had almost all the same break periods. I showed her mine. “We can eat lunch together” she said, and it sounded like she suppressed a giggle.
“Sure, if you want.” She said she did. We walked out of the humanities building then split up and headed to our classes. We met up at lunch and watched anime on my phone together. We met up again before heading home, then I called it a day.
I got home just ahead of my parents. I suppose I should mention my dad is a Lutheran pastor and my mom is a nurse practitioner. As we ate the Hardee’s my dad had brought home for dinner they bitched to each other about their days, never once asking me how my day had been. It’s not that they don’t care, our communication skills as a family just need a little work. I took my burger to my room and closed the door. My mind kept drifting to Morgan, and I started getting a boner.
I tried to think about anything else, but nothing worked. Finally I gave up. I quickly finished my dinner then told my parents I was going to bed early. They were watching Netflix, and I wasn’t even sure if they heard me but I was sure I would have some privacy if I was quick about it. I kicked off my shoes then threw myself onto my bed. I looked over at Morgan as I was rolling up the window, but she was staring at her feet. “I don’t think she’ll tell anybody…”

“So…do you want me to take you home?”
“Yes, please.” We drove in silence, and arrived at her apartment about ten minutes later.

I sat down and looked at the muffin. Cheese streusel, my favorite. I took a sip of the coffee. Lots of vanilla creamer and sugar. Just the way I liked it. I suddenly realized she had picked my favorite muffin and fixed my coffee just the way I liked it without my ever telling her about it once.
“How did you know how I like my coffee? And that this is my favorite kind of muffin?”
“How many times have I seen you eat and drink here in the canteen? I even know you like your coffee a mix of Splenda and sugar and that you always add the sugar first, stir it, then add the Splenda and after you stir it again you add the creamer. And that you prefer Irish cream, but since they only order small quantities of it, you use vanilla whenever they run out. Which is always about halfway through the month.” I realized my mouth was hanging wide open and closed it. “See, the thing is, I like you. A lot. One hell of a lot. And after last night…” she trailed off, looking like she was doing some quick thinking.
“I like you too, more than a hell of a lot. Metric fuck tons of a lot. And since we’re being honest…I couldn’t stop thinking about you when I got home last night. I dreamed about you.”
“Naughty dreams?” she asked with a smile that was more a smirk. I could feel myself blushing, but she giggled. “Mine were naughty.” My mouth was open again and I closed it again. “Well, since we like each other more than a lot, we should start dating each other, don’t you think?”
“Fuck yes!” I said more loudly than I had intended. I whipped my head around to look at the woman at the register, but she appeared totally engrossed in her Danielle Steele book, “Yes” I repeated, but more quietly.
“Good. Now you need to introduce me to your parents. And your friends.” She paused for a moment to sip her coffee, and I sipped mine. “Did you really learn how to kiss by watching porn?”
“Yes” I said after a moment. I was surprised at how easily I could say it. Weren’t women supposed to think that porn was wrong? “Why?” I asked more tentatively.
“I was just curious. How often do you look at porn?” she sounded as though she were discussing the weather. Which was throwing me off as much as anything.
“Well it used to be pretty much every day.”
“Used to be?”
“Well, I mean, looking at porn when you’re dating someone is like saying they aren’t good enough for you.”
“So you’re saying you are going to give it up for me?”
“Well, yeah, because you’re more than good enough for me.” She smiled that smile again.
“What are you going to do to get off?” I almost gave myself whiplash as I turned around to look at the woman at the register again, but she was still reading.
“I guess…I mean…” I trailed off, more than a little embarrassed to be discussing my sexual self-gratification with her. Suddenly I realized she was as nervous as I am. She was perspiring, and she had her coffee in a death grip. “We don’t have to discuss this if you don’t want to. I’m certainly not used to discussing this with anyone.” She seemed to take a steadying breath.
“Have you ever…been with anyone?” she actually did blush as she hurried to get the second part of her sentence out.
“No…Have you?”
“No. Last night was the first time I’d ever even been kissed. I mean…I play with myself sometimes but…” She trailed off, and we both sat in silence, sipping our coffee. Finally she spoke again. “I’m not used to talking about this stuff with anyone else either. What…what kind of porn do you like to watch?”
“Different stuff.”
“Such as?” I was trying to decide to tell her or not when other students began coming in.
“Why don’t we talk more over lunch? There’s a new place opening I want to try. We can talk in the car.”
“Will you answer all my questions this time?” I nodded. “And you’ll introduce me to your parents tonight?” I nodded again. She nodded almost to herself more than me, and stood up. I stood up too, but was surprised when she walked up to me and pulled me down for a quick kiss. As she walked away my brain was going twenty different ways at once. My first class that day was an upper level History class on the Crusades, and I was completely oblivious. After it was over one of my friends came up to me. His name is Brian Chris Dalton, and he goes by both Chris and Brian, whichever you want to call him.
“Daniel, bro, I heard you got a girlfriend.” He noticed the shocked look on my face and added “Janice Kowalski saw the two of you in the canteen this morning. When were you going to tell me and the rest of the guys?”
“When pigs fly. You assholes will try and corrupt her” but I said it with a smile.
“Janice said it’s that freshman you are supposed to be mentoring. Hey, you giving her private sessions?”
“Ha, wouldn’t you like to know?” We both laughed. I was headed to the student center to meet her, and said “Why don’t you come with me to meet her?”
“Sounds good.” He followed me to the student center and there at our usual table was Morgan, and three guys I didn’t recognize. When she saw me she waved, and Brian and I walked over.
“See, here he is now” she was saying to the three guys.
“He’s your boyfriend?” one of them said. “He doesn’t look so tough…” he trailed off as I walked over and put my arm around her. Or maybe it was because Brian came and stood on the other side of us and crossed his arms. I should probably tell you that Brian Chris, or BC as we call him, is a body builder and wrestler, and is 6’8” and about 300 lbs. of muscle. He once picked up the front end of my Charger; the front wheels came four inches off the ground.
“Well it was nice talking with you” one said just as another said “I’m late for class” and the third guy just shrugged and they all walked away.
“Thanks BC.”
“Nah, man, you could’ve totally handled it. Compared to you I’m all show muscle and mouth.”
“Why do you say that?” asked Morgan.
“Me and the guys have a nickname for him. We call him Bear. He’s slow and kinda lumbering, but faster and stronger than he looks. Show her, Bear” he said slapping me on the back.
I leaned over slightly and hooked my right arm under Morgan’s legs, lifting her up into my arms. She made a small noise of surprise but nothing more. I held there for about half a minute before putting her down. I then introduced her to Brian Chris. The three of us chatted for a few minutes then headed to our next class. I was able to concentrate a little better in this one, which was good because the professor was Bailey Berkley, the academic dean who sometimes taught psychology classes, and you did not want to let your guard down around the Iron Lady, as most of us called her, behind her back that is. It was a 200 level class called social factors on human behavior. Today was the beginning of chapter 10, the one everyone always joked about, especially when it was taught by her. Chapter 10 was sexual factors on human behavior, and we would focus on it for the rest of the semester. It was essentially a college level sex ed class, and Dean Berkley was one of those rare people who seem to have no sex drive. And seemed to expect the same in others. She was lecturing on “the act of intercourse” as she termed it, and I was able to understand that, taught by another professor, this class might actually be interesting.
As soon as she let us out I went straight to my car, where I had said I would meet Morgan. She was already waiting for me.
“Took you long enough.”
“I had the Iron Lady. I never knew anyone could make sex sound that boring. She probably thinks it IS that boring.”
“How would you know if it’s boring or not?”
“Common sense. If it were boring it wouldn’t be its own world-wide industry or an advertisement tool.”
“Fair enough.” I unlocked the car and we put our bags in the back then climbed in. I left the parking lot and headed for the new restaurant. It was an old-school style diner out in the country a ways. We were both silent for a few moments, then she asked to see my phone. I handed it to her, then put my attention back on the road. Until I heard her start playing one of the shemale porn videos I had downloaded. Then I almost wrecked the fucking car.
“What are you doing!?” I yelled, but I didn’t dare take my eyes off the road because I was in the process of merging onto the interstate.

We sat in the car and ate, and she asked me pretty much the same questions as this morning. With Berkley’s class still fresh in my mind I was determined to be more open and honest.
“I usually look at porn and whack it in the evenings before bed.”
“Usually?” I took a big bite of my burger to give me time to think.
“Like I said this morning, I don’t think it would be right to jack off to it while we’re dating.”
“Well in that case maybe I have to give you reasons to think of me.”
“Too late for that” I said before I really thought it through. She smiled as she finished her hot dog.
I stuffed the last of my burger in my mouth, and I could tell I had ketchup on my face, but before I could even try and lick it off she reached over and wiped most of it off with her finger, then licked her finger. Then she gave me a smile. I know it wasn’t much, but it still turned me on enough for me to get a chubby.
She looked at her watch. “What classes do you have this afternoon?”
“I’m finished with class, I was going to go to Hammond’s office for a while when we get back. Why?”
“Will you call him and tell him you’re not feeling well? My class this afternoon is cancelled. Garrison is sick this week.”
“What would you rather do instead?”
“I think I’d like to invite you into my apartment, and maybe fuck your brains out.” I laughed a little, until I realized she wasn’t joking.
“You’re serious. We’ve been dating less than a day and now you want to do the nasty?”
“You don’t?”
“Yes I do, it’s just…”
“You don’t seriously expect me to wait until we’re married?”
“Until? Not if?”
“Fucking a. Call Dr. Hammond, then take me to my apartment. Then take me.” My brain almost hurt. As fast and furiously as I was thinking it should’ve been leaking out of my ears. I called Dr. Hammond, and asked told him I felt sick after eating lunch. He said to go home and get some rest, because he sure as hell wasn’t going to go easy on me on Monday. Then he said to enjoy my weekend. I hung up and put my phone down. Then I looked at Morgan. She was looking at almost without blinking. I made my decision. The drive back to her apartment seemed to take forever and no time at all at the same time. I’d never been in her apartment before. She called it her sanctuary. Her apartment was on the ground floor, number 212. She pulled out her key, hesitated for just a moment, then put the key in the lock and opened the door. The apartment was all on one floor. The front door opened straight into the den, which was sparsely furnished with a sectional that looked a little worn but was clearly well taken care of. She had a PlayStation 3 and a HD TV on a coffee table against the wall. Other than that the room was almost completely empty. There were no photos anywhere. I guess I was expecting to see some of her family. There was a small table and two chars beyond the den, and I could tell that beside the table and chairs was the kitchen, but it was separated from the den by a wall.
