2 – The Proposition
“Jack.” I heard my name being called, like a distant roar of a wave.
“Jackie, boy.” I heard it again, this time the wave crashed closer.

I looked at him as if I couldn’t believe him. And I couldn’t. It wasn’t adding up.

“Because I need something from you – this little favour. And you need something from me – safety, secrecy, security. We’re both in want of each another. If it was anyone else, it wouldn’t work. There wouldn’t be any trust. You understand?”
I didn’t say anything. I just played it out in my head.

I had to keep a low profile, and I believed that this was my best option. It was most likely my only option.

“Good. So it’s settled then.” He got up off the bed and set the picture frame on the wall again. He didn’t bother to clean the cum off of it.
