Memories of a Deviant: Prologue and Ch. 1: Family Reunion_(1)

Introduction:
No matter where you go in the world, one thing that is almost universally considered to be a taboo is incest, and as you can see from the title of this new series even I, after all that’s happened, still consider it to be such. The only difference between myself and the rest of the world is that I no longer care if it is taboo or not.
What follows is the true story of how I entered into a deeply committed relationship with my cousin whom we will call Tiffany. Obviously that is not her real name and in order to protect our privacy and other, hopefully obvious reasons, all of the names, and locations that are mentioned will likewise be fabricated. What will be true are the events that took place.
If you are looking for a fast paced story or a gratuitous number of sex scenes then this series probably isn’t for you. The story is somewhat slow and there are relatively few sex scenes because the events that led to my current situation took place over the course of several years. If you find that disappointing then please accept my apologies and move on to find something else to read. For those of you who do decide to give this story a chance, you have my thanks and I hope that you enjoy it. comments and criticism are welcome and encouraged, but since this is my first attempt at writing please, if it is horrible, don’t just tell me that it’s horrible. Tell me why it’s horrible so I can fix the problem.
Also I would like to add that I will do my best to portray these event as accurately as possible with Tiffany helping to fill in some of the blanks, but please keep in mind that these events happened several years ago so some things, especially dialogue may not be completely true but just a close approximation of what I can remember. For that I will apologize in advance.

Before starting my tale, I should introduce myself. My name is Josh Abbot and currently I am forty years old, but at the time that the events in this story took place I was twenty two years old and in the navy, stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. At the time I was 5’11”, had red hair, had freckles scattered across the bridge of my nose and cheeks, and had pale, icy blue eyes. Early the nest morning, we woke up and ate breakfast just in time to greet my aunt and uncle who had just arrived with my two cousins, Sarah and Tiffany, who were seventeen and fifteen respectively, at the time. After hugging my aunt and uncle, I went outside to help them carry in their luggage and that was when I saw Tiffany get out of the back seat. I’m sure I must have looked like a fool, staring, open-mouthed, like I was. I hadn’t seen Tiffany in about six years and she had done a lot of growing up in that time. The last time I saw her she had been all knees and elbows, and about as curvy as a two-by-four. Now she stood about 5’5″ tall, and had breasts that I guessed were a solid B cup and looked to be still growing. her hair came about midway down her back and was a brown so dark it almost appeared black unless she was standing in direct sunlight. I managed to snap out of my trance just as Tiffany’s face lit up in an ear-to-ear grin, confirming my speculations about how expressive her face would be, and she virtually sprinted over to me and wrapped me in a huge hug. While her height and build were almost identical to Tiffany, that is about where the similarities ended. Tiffany’s hair was a dark brown but Sarah’s was a bright flaming red like mine. And even though almost everyone in our family had blue eyes Sarah’s eyes were a vivid forest green, and like me she had a dense mass of freckles covering her nose and cheeks. All of that combined with the quick, easy smile that was almost permanently plastered on her face and the angular features she inherited from her mother gave her an almost impish look, making her appear to be very mischievous and playful, although you would be hard pressed to find someone more reserved and shy than her. Sarah gave me a shy smile as she walked over to me, and in an effort to force her out of her shell I crushed her to me in a massive bear hug; picking her up and swinging her in a circle for good measure. It had the desired effect and she squealed rather loudly, causing all three of us to burst out laughing. By now we had managed to attract more than a few curious stares from other guests due to the commotion we were making, so we all grabbed as many bags as we could carry and fell into an easy banter as we carried them to the suite of rooms that they and their parents would be staying in.
As we headed up to their rooms I dropped back a few paces and pondered on the fact that although Sarah was every bit as gorgeous as her sister, in her own way, she didn’t have nearly the effect on me that Tiffany did. Whenever I so much as glanced at Tiffany it felt like an electric shock went through me, and I couldn’t help but imagine how good it would feel to have those full lips pressed against mine. By contrast, whenever I looked at Sarah, even though I could appreciate that she was a beautiful young woman, all I saw was my cousin. Nothing more and nothing less than that.
As we made it up to their family’s suite and deposited their bags, I managed to steer the conversation to the topic I was really interested in. Dating.
Casually I turned to Sarah and asked, “So, tell me, now that you’re all grown up are there any boyfriends who I should be threatening to kill?”
Her eyes grew wide but she laughed and responded, “No, I don’t have a boyfriend, but even if I did why would you threaten to kill him?”
“Because,” I answered jokingly, “I don’t have any little sisters and you girls don’t have any older brothers. Therefore I have decided to draft you two as my little sisters, and the Code of Honor for Big Brothers clearly states that it is the paramount responsibility of any big brother to threaten all of his little sister’s boyfriends with death should they behave in a way that the big brother deems to be unfitting.”
Tiffany, who had been listening to our conversation, let out a short peal of musical laughter that sent a wave of goosebumps rushing over me and asked, “Oh really? And where exactly in this code of honor does it say that?”
I looked at Tiffany and with the best poker face I could manage replied, “Section one, paragraph c, line four.”
Both girls looked at me, surprise evident on their faces, for several seconds before they both burst out laughing almost in unison.
“Good lord,” Sarah choked out between laughs, “for a second there you actually had me thinking that there really was a code of honor for big brothers written down somewhere, and I’ve just never heard of it!”
Unable to maintain my poker face any longer I began laughing along with the girls, and finally, after we had all managed to catch our breath, I turned to Tiffany and asked her, “What about you, Tiff? Any boys I should be putting the fear of God into?”
She flashed me that knowing smirk again, like she knew why I was really asking, (and for all I know she did. Like her I was almost incapable of hiding things.) and replied, “I’ve been on one or two dates, but I wouldn’t call them boyfriends. None of the boys at school are really my type.”
My heart-rate kicked up a notch, because I knew I would be treading dangerous waters with my next question, “Oh really? What exactly is your type?”
Her grin grew wider and took on a playfully wicked edge as she replied, “I kind of have a thing for red heads.”
As much as I wanted to see where that conversation would lead, I couldn’t forget that Sarah was standing right there beside her sister, and right about then the door to the room opened and in came my grand parents with my aunt and uncle right behind them. After greeting and visiting with my aunt Cynthia and uncle Thomas for a while I took my leave with a mumbled excuse about moving my bags to my new room (I had stayed in my grandparents room the previous night but my parents would be arriving the next day and from then I on I would be staying in a different suite with them).
As I grabbed my bags and began the task of transferring them to the new suite the buzz I got from being around Tiffany wore off and the guilt and shame of having sexual thoughts towards my cousin began to set in. What kind of sick freak was I? From the moment she got out of the car all I had been able to think about was what it would be like to have those long legs wrapped around my waist. Apparently I had slept through most of the day. After I hung up I grudgingly crawled out of the bed, (which was far more comfortable than any hotel bed had a right to be.) and got dressed. Finally I shuffled out into the hall and took an elevator down to the lobby where everyone else was waiting.
While we were at the restaurant I did everything in my power to avoid looking at and talking to Tiffany without making it obvious and/or offending her, but I was fighting a losing battle and eventually came to the decision that it didn’t matter what thoughts and feelings I had for her as long as I didn’t act on them. Besides, acting on my desires would most likely only result in a swift rejection, and, if she told the rest of the family, my prompt disownment.. I closed the door with a resigned chuckle and began to change into my swim trunks. After that I threw on a white t-shirt and some flip flops, grabbed a towel out of the bathroom, and headed down to the lobby to meet up with them.
When we entered the room that contained the resort’s indoor pool, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the three of us were the only ones there. I turned to the girls and asked, “Are uncle Tom and aunt Cyn going to join us?”
“No, they were tired and decided to go to bed.” Sarah replied.
Having said that both girls dropped their towels and their room key on the nearest table and shimmied out of their shirts, letting me see their bathing suits for the first time. Sarah’s suit was very fitting with her personality. it was a modest one-piece, and a drab, olive green in color, which was very much in line with her shy and reserved nature. When I turned to look at Tiffany, however, I had to suck in a breath and consciously keep my mouth from hanging open. Just like Sarah’s bathing suit was very fitting of her personality, so, too, was Tiffany’s. Figuring that honesty was the best policy I simply said, “None.”
“Aw. How come?”
“Because I’m shy and have all the social skills of a retarded hermit crab.” I said, and since this conversation was taking an uncomfortable turn, added on, “Are we going to stand around talking all night or are we going to go for a swim?”
Without waiting for a response I turned and dove into the pool headfirst, and I was quickly followed by Sarah and then Tiffany. For the next couple of hours we enjoyed ourselves and were splashing around and laughing almost non stop, and I relaxed enough that I was almost able to look at Tiffany and see only my goofy cousin, whom I loved. Almost. However, it was impossible to avoid her completely without making it obvious that I was doing so, and every night when we returned to the resort after the days activities, without fail, she and Sarah would show up at the door to my room and beg me to go swimming with them. At the end of the night, after taking several photos of the entire family, we all wandered off to our beds.
The next morning my grandfather announced the activity he had planned for our final night at the resort, and that turned out to be a day long trip to six flags! Needless to say we were all very excited as we piled into our cars and headed for the massive amusement park. My memories of what I did there are a little fuzzy but I know I rode every roller coaster I could find even tried my hand at some of the carnival games I saw, but I’m fairly certain those games were rigged because even after several dollars and attempts I failed to win anything. As the day was winding to an end I was beginning to feel very good about the entire trip, despite my indiscretions towards Tiffany. Naturally that’s when fate decided to intervene against me.
Just as everyone was thinking that it was about time to head back to the hotel, Tiffany spoke up and said that she really wanted to ride the big ferris wheel that six flags had. When her parents broke down and said she could she told them that she didn’t want to go by herself. Sarah was tired and didn’t want to go with her, and ditto for the rest of the children that were there. Tiffany turned to me directly and asked me to come with her and naturally my parents agreed for me. Great. Just what I needed. Several minutes alone with the one person I was desperately trying to avoid.
In the face of her pleading gaze I reluctantly agreed and walked over to the ride with her and got in. The ferris wheel was a big one, and instead of having benches for you to sit on it had the completely enclosed cars that could seat up to four people. Once we got in and sat down, though, I noticed an almost immediate change come over Tiffany. It was almost as if, in the blink of an eye, she had traded personalities with her sister. Where before she had been very outspoken and full of life and youthful energy, now she was acting very shy and quiet. I could tell that she wanted to talk about something and was trying to work up the nerve.
Afraid of what she might have to say, I decided not to make it easy on her and sat there silently, looking out the window. The ride went on, and still she hadn’t said anything, and I began to think that I might be able to get out of this with no harm done. Then, for the second time that evening, fate conspired against me. We came around to the top of the ferris wheel and the ride paused to begin letting people out. as it started to move again there was a terrible, loud grinding noise and the ride shuddered to a stop. Tiffany screamed and began crying out of sheer fright and a few seconds later a voice came over a nearby loudspeaker, announcing that the ferris wheel had stripped a gear and to remain calm while they fixed the problem. Feeling sorry for Tiffany, who was still terrified, I moved over to her side of the car and pulled her close, whispering nonsense to her until she had calmed down.
As I slid away from her I could tell that she still wanted to talk about something, and since it didn’t seem like we would be going anywhere for a while, I finally decided to just get it over with.
“Are you okay, Tiff? You’ve been acting weird since we got on this ride.”
She looked at me for a few seconds before finally responding, “Yeah, I’m okay, but there’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”
Crap. I knew it. I decided that playing dumb was probably my best option so I said, “Oh? What would that be?”
Tiffany, looking directly into my eyes, said, “I’ve noticed what you’ve been doing, Josh.”
My heart rate kicked into overdrive and I’m pretty sure I began visibly sweating bullets. The jig was up. I was pretty sure that Tiffany now hated me and worse, if she told anyone I would probably be disowned by the rest of the family, but, stubbornly sticking to my defense of ignorance, I said, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Come on, Josh,” she said, rolling her eyes, “I’ve seen you sneaking glances at me when you thought I wasn’t looking, and all those times you copped a feel while we were wrestling. Did you honestly think I wouldn’t notice?”
There was no point in playing dumb any longer. She obviously had me pegged, so I switched to plan B. Begging for forgiveness.
“Well, I was kind of hoping you wouldn’t. God, Tiff, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with me. I’m just a sick freak I guess, and if you never want to speak to me again that’s fine. As soon as we get off the ferris wheel I will leave you alone and you’ll never hear from me again. I promise.”
Tiffany started laughing about half way through my bumbling apology, “Josh! It’s okay! I’m not mad!”
“You’re not?”
“No! I mean come on. If I had a problem with what you were doing I would have stopped you. Truth is, I enjoyed all the attention you were giving me.”
“Oh…well then…uh…” Brilliant master of the witty retort. That’s me.
Tiffany chuckled, obviously enjoying how flustered I was getting.
‘Honestly, Josh, when I got out of the car and saw how hot you’ve gotten I had to resist the urge to start making out with you right there.”
“Yeah, but Tiff, we’re cousins. This is wrong. We shouldn’t even be thinking about things like this.”
Her expression grew more somber and she looked down, saying, “I know, and believe me I’ve tried to stop thinking about you that way, but for some reason I just can’t.”
“I know. Me too. So what do we do about this?”
“Well. Tomorrow I will be going back to Arizona and you will be going back to Virginia and after that we can pretend like none of this ever happened, but for now I say we just roll with it.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, hesitantly.
“Well, there’s something I’ve been wanting to do.” she said, and with that she slid across the bench until we were almost touching, tentatively reached out and pulled my face towards hers, and kissed me right on the lips.

The next morning the entire Abbot clan met up for one last breakfast as a family and then everyone began making their long drives home. Tiffany and I mutually avoided each other except for a quick, awkward hug goodbye, and before log she and her family were driving back to Arizona and I was in the car with my parents this time heading back to their home in Missouri for a few days before I had to catch a flight back to Virginia. Tiffany and I never told anyone about what we did in the ferris wheel, and though she sent me a few emails I deleted them without reading the contents because I was ashamed of what transpired.
It was almost six years before I saw her again…
